Dear Students,

Welcome to the Universidad Católica del Norte, a regional university with a key position in the national higher education framework.

You should know that our core concern is to train students with an education based on the values and principles of Christian Humanism, who are able to contribute actively to processes of regional and national development through their positive leadership, social perspective and orientation towards community service, helping our regions and our country to reach a greater level of development.

You are already part of an institution that has been able to incorporate the demands of the labor market into its programs of study, achieving high levels of employability over diverse fields of specialization, through close relationships with national and regional institutions.

The prestige that we have attained reflects the quality of our teaching, which is guided by our Educational Project and incorporates learner-centered approaches to higher education. This methodological framework is complemented by the development of specialized infrastructure, which has allowed us to refine and improve our educational model.

Alongside our academic activities, we are interested in shaping upright citizens. For this reason, we coordinate a broad program of extracurricular activities, including sports, cultural and social activities. Students may also participate in activities organized by the Department for Student Affairs and the Department for Pastoral Care and Christian Culture. It is also important to highlight the support available to students in different areas contributing to their overall welfare.
