A UCN graduate with a degree in Kinesiology is an important part of the rehabilitation process. They apply techniques of evaluation and treatment in the field of human kinetics. This program offers training in the understanding of cellular biology, physiology and anatomy of the human body, all of which allow the student to grasp the biomedical field and establish relationships with the community through safe and responsible therapies and medical practices.
Based on their ability to monitor physical, muscular, respiratory and motor rehabilitation processes, a Kinesiologist can work in a private clinic, community organization, educational institution, sport club or children’s rehabilitation facility, among others.
The UCN Undergraduate degree program in Kinesiology has anatomy laboratories, study rooms that facilitate teamwork and the recent implementation of the Center for Clinical Skills, which was intentionally designed for physical therapy practice and methods as well as interdisciplinary work with other degree programs in the health department.
