A UCN graduate with a degree in Aquaculture Engineering is a professional who uses scientific and technological concepts in order to produce hydrobiological species, manage and optimize the work of cultivating aquatic organisms, designing and implementing strategies to produce aquacultures. They also manage sustainable projects with various organizations and cultivation centers. At UCN, students of Aquaculture learn in different environments and are exposed to resources on engineering, management, technology, biology, aquatic organism behavior, oceanography, farming, research and hydrobiology, all of which focus on the sustainable production of aquaculture.
With a modern infrastructure and the support of other majors, this course is a collaborative effort between the Japanese government and UCN. The UCN Aquaculture program has gained international prestige for its research and aquacultural production.
