The Universidad Católica del Norte considers
internationalization to be an important factor in the
development of post secondary education and the
administration of academic institutions. In the light of
this, the University is currently implementing an
Institutional Internationalization project aimed at
fulfilling the main objectives of its Corporate
Development Plan for 2004-2008. The central thrust of
the Plan is UCN’s Distinctive Education Project.
The University’s administrators see
internationalization as a long term institutional
challenge that will have a major impact on UCN as it
adapts to an ever more universal environment.
