This regional integration initiative was formed by Chile, Peru, Colombia and Mexico on April 28th 2011. This multilateral integration zone aims to develop new arenas for cooperation and promote the free circulation of goods, services, capital and people.
A shared interest in education underlies the Pacific Alliance’s Platform for Student and Academic Exchange and Mobility, which allows students and faculty to apply for Pacific Alliance scholarships at universities linked to the Alliance.
