A UCN graduate with a degree in Mathematics is a professional dedicated to researching and teaching high-level mathematics, a person who understands the language and logic necessary to conduct research and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. They are qualified to continue their Postgraduate studies in this discipline.
The Undergraduate degree in Mathematics is based on the application of theoretical knowledge, which will equip graduates with the tools to work with abstract concepts, logic and versatility, in order to contribute and participate in research groups, promoting self-learning and interest in science, as well as develop teaching skills in basic Higher Education.
The UCN Mathematics Department has established national and international relationships with Chilean, South American, American and European universities through scientific collaborations between scholars and their work on research projects, joint publications and the supervision of shared Postgraduate theses
